Happy Halloween!

I just wanted to post this pic first to prove that there is a love/hate relationship between kids and Halloween sometimes!LOL I have no idea how anyone can be sad when that much candy awaits them!
Again Abbi with the love/hate thing!;) This is actually the day of the school Halloween carnival...that's why Jake is wearing something different every day of the week!

Best ride at the carnival! We let them use their tickets really fast on these rides, then....

We bribed them with Macey's ice~cream! Not a bad deal for us....it cost us $2.40 to leave 198 degree's and a major crowd! Think about next year people!Haha

And finally here they are collecting the loot! I wanted to get a pic of the three cats...cute little gals! My sister~in~law actually made her girls ears...you should make the pic bigger and look at them, they're impressive! Hope everyone had a fab Halloween....I know we did!!

Halloween with Grandma and DD!

This a pic of all the cute grandkids during a Halloween party at my Mom and Dads. They are always coming up with ways to make life a little better for their grandbabies! I was just telling my Dad today what a softy he is when it comes to his grandkids....I love it!
Even though there are many plates in front of us...they're not ours! Not that we didn't eat our fair share of moms popcorn....it's GOOD...don't judge us!!

All I have to say is....look at his boots!LOL He insisted that Bumblebee(Transformers) would totally wear them even though he's a robot....cute little man!

And no party would be complete without Tinkerbell right?!? She was something else on Halloween day, but I still have to post those later. Thank you Mommy for an excellent party...my kids are definitely loved!

So she enters double digits!

My little girl turned 10 on September 18th! She's so excited to be in double digits!She had to wait for 3 hours until her dad got home to open these presents as they sat and taunted her!!

Pretty sure they spent more time on their behinds than they did on their feet! I have to admit that I found some pleasure in watching them fall!LOL

My little sis came down from Idaho Falls just for the day so that they could come to Hailey's party....thanks Roo, you're a trooper! And thanks for the help at the party too!!

Thanks to Wal*Mart....all of my trips are an extra 20 minutes! I'm not sure how much I love this little playland, but they love it!

I can't believe how long it's been since I did my last blog post! Seriously...when I looked on here and realized it had been over 3 months I about died....I have NO concept of time anymore! For that reason I decided to take some pictures of a typical day now that school is back in. I miss the kids like crazy and I always have a really hard time sending them back! I decided not to send the twins to pre~school because I can't stand the thought that this is my last year with them before they start kindergarten! No way this is happening to me....I don't know what I'm going to do all by myself next year! I'm going to need some counseling from some of you mom's that have experienced this tragedy!!!!

Ok...now that I'm done ranting! I wanted to blog about "nothing" because those are the days I like the best. I have been in heaven listening to Abbi and Jake entertain themselves, and each other. But this year I've found that I like being part of the party that they seem to think is everyday life. I'm not kidding when I tell you that they can make chores seem like you've planned a day of fun for them! We went to Smiths Marketplace today to buy them pencil boxes because I am attemting to do my own pre~school for them this year. Since Smiths has little shopping carts for their smaller patrons...they thought they would join in! Only they never put anything in their carts...all pretend items. It was so cute watching them play "shopping". Jake said "oh...I need that fire pit", and Abbi said "oh ya...I forget to get milk mommy. We better go back and get it". There were also the times today when I had to tell them to stop picking their nose and they informed me that they're not picking boogers...they're picking booger slop...what the?!? Ya...their new word for snot! That's attractive...we'll have to remedy that SOON!

Anyway...I asked them if they wanted me to take some pictures of them this morning and Abbi was pumped...Jake...not so much! But by the end of our "session" they had me involved and we were laughing our heads off at how some of them turned out! I let them pick what we were going to do in the picture, and my job was to set the self timer. I wish that I had half of their imagination and zest for life! Don't get me wrong...we have our bad days, but if someone were to ask me today who I wanted to be like....it would be Abbi and Jake!

Dave and his Brother Matt bought a boat last year, and you have no idea how much fun we've had on that thing!! Pretty sure that this is the best purchase made since our house!! I would say that Ryan has had more fun than all of us combined!

I love this time of year for 2 reasons...playing outside, and playing baseball! There are others, but these just happen to be my faves! I can't wait until school is out so the games can begin!!

Ok, Ok...I don't want anyone grabbing their hearts and gasping for air!! Yes...I'm finally posting after many weeks of procrastinating!! I've been looking for pictures of me pregnant with the twins so that I could do their b-day post....no dice! I'll still do it when I find the pics...no post would be complete without a picure of me looking like a beached whale right?!? Anyway...I have about a million things to catch up on, but for this time of year I deemed it appropriate to post about baseball!!!! Pretty sure everyone who knows us knows we lov e baseball! Ry plays on a super league traveling team, and Dave, Grayden, and Doug coach.

These guys have been playing together for about 4 years now, and we couldn't ask for better kids! Just a little side note...we beat our biggest rival in the valley last night!! Chubby cheeks and birthdays!!

So I'm finally getting around to my Idaho Falls trips that I took a couple weeks ago....all that I have to say about this pic is "OH MY GOSH...HOW CUTE IS THIS BABY"? This isn't from any of my trips, but I had to throw it in! Do you want to bite her?!? I did...and I do!!

You thought when I was talking about chubby cheeks I meant Gracie didn't you?!? Nope...get a load of these babies!!LOL We tend to forget that we're wives and mothers when we get together...love her!!

This was the first stop of many for my Kourtnee's birthday party...the mall of course! Nice glasses ya goofs!!

Michelle took all of the girls to this cool ice~cream place called Sub Zero. You got to pick what flavor ice~cream you wanted in liquid form..then your addition(in my case cookie dough)...then they froze it right in front of you! It was pretty wild..they all loved it! By all, I mean me too! I don't have any pictures, but the last stop of the night was a movie.(Bedtime Stories) It was too fun...thanks for inviting us baby girl...I hope you had one heck of a 9th birthday!!

No post would be complete without Bradley and his gangsta pose! He was walking around all weekend with this stance saying "wowd"! Translation..."word"! What can I say...the boys got moves...cute little dude!

Getting ready for church...ya right!! They were playing the Wii and it was all I could do to keep their attention for the 30 seconds it took to take this pic!! See the remote hanging from Hailey's arm?!?HAHA

Bottom line...we always have a blast when we go visit Michelle and her clan! There's never one minute where we're not laughing our heads off...way to go Idaho!!

There is an appropriate time to brag...right?!?

I realize that a lot of you have been in my house already...but I wanted to brag...just a little bit about my hubby!! This room was like a blank canvas when we bought this house...I mean just sheetrock walls! When he informed me that he was going to attempt doing the kitchen from start to finish, I about died!! Now...don't get me wrong, Dave really is one of the most talented people I have ever met! He is literally capable of anything...but I was skeptical still. Well...as you can see, the skepticism was all for not!! I think it's pretty safe to say that this is gorgeous! I do realize that it doesn't fit just anybody's taste...but you can't argue that he is amazing!!!! He walked through the front door with a pile of wood and turned it into this!! There is one part that isn't finished, and who knows when it ever will be! I don't know if you can see it, but the counter to the right has no granite...why you ask...we still haven't been able to match it and that's a lot harder than it sounds!!!!
We didn't want to pay for a slab, but wanted something that looked equally as nice, so Dave came up with the plan to do granite tops with a travertine bullnose that he sanded by hand to give it the rounded look! He designed the backsplash and all of the moldings as well. Sometimes I wonder if he really has a clue how multi~talented he is....as a matter of fact I know he doesn't... he's too modest! Anyway...I just wanted to brag for a minute and let Dave know(even though he will never read this and would be embarrassed if he did) that he's the best, and I continue to be amazed and dazzled by him!! Love ya babe!

During Ry's birthday party...out comes Abbi with toilet paper stuck in a place that will remain a mystery!!haha Good thing she's only three...but don't think for a second that I'm not putting this on here for blackmail when she's 16....Poor girl! Better than being an adult and having your dress tucked into your underwear right?!?

13 on Friday the 13th!!

So...I have been a major slacker on the blog front lately! I'm back and ready to go, so here is the first of many events that have taken place recently!! Here he is in all of his glory!! It seems like yesterday that I took these pictures! What happened?!? I wanted to put a lot more pics on here of Ry in his younger years, but I have been given a limit...something about embarrassing him! I don't know...all I heard was blah, blah, blah!!
We always take the kids out for a back~to~school dinner the night before the first day of school. This was the night before Ry started kindergarten.

Just a boy and his machinery!! What would he do without this?!? Shorts?!? Those are nice and safe...what were we thinking?!?

Finally the party! This is about 1/2 of the boys that came to the party. His whole baseball team came, but I was a slacker with the camera! Can you tell that I made Blake come over for the picture?!?haha! Ryan decided that it's not every day that a kid turns 13 on Friday the 13th...so he decided that he wanted to watch a scary movie for his birthday. They watched a movie, ate...played Rock Band, ate...played World Tour, ate!! Man...boys can eat!!!!

They had a fair amount of root beer!!!! It was so fun, and I'm glad they all had a good time! Note to self for next time....more food and pop!! Happy 13th Ryno!!!!
