Ok...this is crazy!!!! These deer have been here for so long that I'm thinking of naming them! They are living in my back yard underneath our big tree. I think one if them is hurt...so they have taken up residence for a while. As far as I'm concerned they can stay...I love watching them. The first picture is in my neighbors yard about 30 feet away from where we were standing...and the rest of them are in my yard! Anyway...just though I'd share being as how usually when we see a deer, it's dead and bloated off to the side of the road!! I prefer them this way!!

Oh, Nathan has been taking pictures of these deer also! Ha! Yes, they love both of our back yards. One night the deer were practically on you deck!
This is probably the closest thing you guys will ever have to a pet- Does Dave yell "Scat" at them? :)
I just wrote this whole CRAZY comment about how you should jump on one of the deer and try to ride it. Then I erased it. The problem is, I already tell you all of my normal comments over the phone! :)I laughed at Crystal's comment though! "Scat"! I remember that! LOL!
My kids would be in heaven. They love stuff like that. My mom has a band of wild turkeys living in her backyard...who says you have to go to the zoo.....
You may love them now but hopefully they will find a new residence in the summer.
Or you'll ever have to mow your lawn or pick anything out or your garden cause there won't be one!! I speek from experience. We lived on 30 acres in WA in the woods and had alot of deer!!! They became a big big pain!! They ate everything, it didn't matter what time of day it was they were there. We would go out to shoo them away and they would just stare at us!! We resorted to sling shots and bebe's. I'm pritty good with a sling shot if you ever need help!
I about hit one of those dang deer at Christmas. Only a few feet separated my prized mini from one of the little bucks.
They eat all of your tulips and crap all over your lawn. Just a warning.
When Vanessa spots a deer, she starts giggling at their white tails. She thinks it's funny they show off their rear ends.
You know if you had stood there much longer snapping pictures, they would have reared up and came after with their deadly hooves...!
So I guess you guys have your years supply. It beats oatmeal and potato pearls anyway.
That's right!! Now we just need to figure out a way to make them stay....then we can all share the wealth!!
I know you were smiling as you took this picture.
Those are good neighbors. You gotta love the kind that just hang out on your property and poop on your grass and take off. lol! mesmerizing.
