And then there was one....me!

So I've dreaded this day for as long as I can remember. I vividly remember the feeling of dread I had when Ryan turned 4 thinking about sending my baby off to school and now here I am an empty nester! How did this happen? Why so fast? I have to admit that their teacher(Mrs. Coburn) has made the transition as easy as it can be for me because she's amazing with the kids and they love her. The only good that comes from this is that I get my gym time in without having to leave the kids home by themselves...lucky me huh?!?;)
So now that I've given the sob story part....it really has been good for Abbi and Jake to know that there is life outside of Mom. They're learning something new every day and can't wait to come home and share with the rest of us. For example yesterday I took the kids to Sizzler and out of nowhere Jake looks up at me and says "Mom...let's invite an Indian over for Thanksgiving".Ha Ha I got the belly roll laughs and Abbi said "Mom is it's not funny, that's what the Pilgrams did. And Jake replies with "ya Mom it's a great idea"! I guess all I can do for now is enjoy the moment and hope that the next 14 years don't fly by as fast as the first 14 have! BTW...for some reason it's not letting me post pictures! I've tried to post this about 20 times with no luck....any ideas??

Tash- have me over for Thanksgiving. I'd be willing to dress up as an indian. :) That is HILARIOUS that Jake said that! I don't know WHY you can't post pics! I've been having some problems with my blog too. We'll have to discuss, since you're the one who taught me everything I know!

I haven't been having problems, what the heck is your problem. I love those babies and I will call them babies forever. That's what I call Bradley and he gets so mad. I don't sweat him..... maybe a little. I have the cocoa bean cupcake cafe on my blog, check it out. YUMMY!!!!!

Great idea, Soni!! We'd love it!! Okay, Jake is one of the funniest people I know. Where he comes up with all the things he says, I'll never know but he sure keeps me laughing! Hey Tash, you're just getting a taste of what's it's going to be when your last child gets married. I'm still recuperating from that! I really cherished those years of having all you kids at home. Mom
